Mike Raahauge Shooting Enterprises, owned by Mike and Elaine Raahauge, is a long-time family business. It is located in Southern California, with easy access to major freeways.

It is a place to shoot your favorite firearms -- whether it be shotgun, handgun, rifle or even the oldtime cowboy firearms. We also offer duck and upland game hunting!

And we are the hub to Hunter Safety Education if you desire to hunt in California or any other state!

Forget the hustle and bustle, because its location is in the heart of the Prado Basin, a diverse habitat which has been created by the diversion of the Santa Ana River. The many ponds that occupy this area are not only home to many varieties of wildlife species, but also offer some of the best waterfowl hunting in the state.

The range consists of a premiere Sporting Clays course, which includes two Duck Towers, Wobble Trap and a handgun range which is home to many organizations whom offer instruction and matches to the public.

And what is Sporting Clays? It is called "golf with a shotgun." Instead of holes, we offer stations, with each station throwing a different set of targets, usually similating actual upland game flight.

The course is laid out in natural surroundings and typically includes 20 stations.

Each station presents shooters with a different type of target flight. Targets may be thrown as singles, simultaneous pairs (targets launched at the same time) or report pairs (the second target is launched at the sound of the gun being fired at the first target.)

To further challenge shooters, the size of the target varies from the standard to the smaller midi and mini targets or the flat disc-shaped battue target, which imitates the flight of the wood duck. There even are special rabbit targets that zip and bounch across the ground at amazing speeds.

The Cowboys and Ghost Town Riders also call Raahauge's home with their many shooting bays that put a shooter back in time with its Old West decorated style and a horse arena for competition shooting. The Ghost Town Riders is a club affiliated with both SASS and CMSA (Cowboy Mounted Shooting Assoc).

With picnic facilities and wetland tours, the range offers a family a full day of safe shooting and entertainment.
