December 4, 2010 - 6:30 a.m.
Mike Raahauge Shooting Enterprises and Turner's Outdoorsman have teamed up to offer a great deal to anyone in need of the California Hunter Safety Course. This one-day program includes a continental breakfast of coffee, juice, doughnuts, a hot dog and salad lunch, test and a certificate suitable for framing. If you pass the test with at least 80%, you will be awarded a Hunter Safety card issued from the Department of Fish & Game. Successful graduates then take the card to a sporting goods store and buy a Hunting License.
Cost: $35
Sign up quickly, because the classes will become a stand-by only basis, which means to please show up at 6:30 a.m. and if there is room, you're in. We can only have so many students per instructors. If you come, please bring exactly $35 cash -- a hot dog lunch is included!
No guarantees, but a good chance -- just don't get mad if we say no, but we haven't said no in over three years.
Stay tuned for 2011 Dates
